Literature Text

The thing about us humans, is were so transient. Our lives so small; so insignificant.

Maybe that’s why we rush into things. Kids getting married just out of high school; pregnant before then. Drinking at eleventwelvethirteen ---- smoking then too.

Maybe we realize how trivial, and minute we are in the grand scheme of things and figure that a little fun won’t hurt.

-----

Everything nowadays is so fast. Cars that push 200, 300 mph. planes and not trains.

Everyone wears a watch… digital, analog, it doesn’t matter. As long as we know the the shorttwentyfourhours we have each day isn’t being wasted.

We’ve got machines that do everything for us, that take les and less of our precious time. We even set our clocks back in order to make us feel like were saving it.

-----

We try to prolong our lives instead of letting nature run its course. We can not accept death as a part of the circle of life and try to escape the inevitable. Its vitamin this, and vitamin that. We use injections, botox and makeup to hide the toll time has taken on our bodies. Yet we must know that no matter what we do, no matter how hard we try to prevent it, we will die

We are not immortal, deific. We are soft, defenseless, and insignificant beings… and we know it.
its true.
